Our development projects & Platforms - A typical example
Forinchem Pharma is committed to improving healthcare from a formulation perspective. For example, the intermediate product methyl parahydroxybenzoate 150 mg/ml in propylene glycol has been used for many years in Dutch formulations as a preservative in drinks, suspensions and the like, in order to improve the microbiological stability of such products. In pediatrics, this form of preservation is less suitable or even outright unsuitable due to the strict exposure limits of propylene glycol in children. However, a more suitable intermediate product of methyl parahydroxybenzoate is desired, as it is not easy to incorporate the pure methyl parahydroxybenzoate substance into a pharmaceutical product. Forinchem Pharma has developed an alternative intermediate product that is better suited for pediatric medicine and which can be applied in pharmaceutical production.
